If you know the story of sorcerer hunters this Oav should be easy to explain. It is basically the same as the television series. There are three episodes in the Oav and they are unconnected to each other. In episode one the group takes a trip to the hot springs and knowing this show the usual ecchi antics follow. The second episode the is sent to deal with an evil sorcerer called the death master and a book of spells known as the necronomicon. Things are wrapped up with a story about a legendary tree that can make love last forever.

The easiest way to explain the Sorcerer hunters Oav is to say it is just like the television show only better. First of all the animation is somewhat improved. This is most noticeable in the character designs in dotta and big momma. Fans of the ecchi will as notice an improvement in Tira and Chocolate's clothing and in the fan service in the show in general. There is also a number of characters that look as though they were regulars in the manga but absent from the television show included here. Some of the characters that were in the background also get to share the spotlight giving the show's humor a well needed expansion in variety. Any fan of sorcerer hunters should like this a lot.
