Review the humanoid Written by Warpshadow rating fair

The humanoid is an one shot Oav clearly made in the eighties. The one thing you have to remember about anime and the eighties is there were a lot of Oavs made and quite a few of them sucked. The kind of anime that just hangs around on video rental shelves because it feels like the owner wouldn't know good anime if it bit him. The humanoid is one of those Oavs.

In distant space there is a planet called Lazeria. On this planet Dr Watson lives with his daughter and a few friends as well an exiled alien princess. When some of Dr. Watson's friends come to visit from outer space they are attacked when they go near some strange ruins. There is something special about them, at least this is what the planetary governor thinks. Will they be able to fix things or will the solution to the problem be found in Antoinette, the new robotic humanoid that Dr. Watson has made?

The humanoid is a chaotic mess of a show. First off characters and plot elements are thrown about willy-nilly with little rhyme or reason. For something called the humanoid the character that is the humanoid, Antoinette, receives almost no attention and is thrown in a plot device when the movie is billed as being about her. Also for some weird reason the characters bring up coffee every five minutes like the show is making them fall asleep as well as the viewer. Avoid this one if you can and that shouldn't be that hard.
