Review Sin The Movie Written by Warpshadow rating poor

Sometimes I feel that I might be a bit too merciful in rating shows, not always giving bad shows truly bad ratings. When it comes to the movie sin I will discard that feeling, the movie is just to bad to deserve my mercy or your time viewing it.

In the not to distant (read vaguely cyberpunk) future mutants are rampaging through the city. The people charged with keeping order (and that includes putting down mutants) are Hardcorps and especially Col John Blade. In one mission he saves a girl from a mutant. He also loses his partner named JC in the ensuing fight. This leaves Blade with two problems, first an officer also JC who blames blade for her brother's death, and even worse the CEO of Sintek who wants the girl for the purpose of using her to make her mutants even more deadly.

Sin is a movie with few if any redeeming qualities. First of all the movie only runs for fifty five minutes leaving little in the way of plot or character development. The whole issue of two JC's is perhaps the most annoying bit. While the movie does try to be an action movie there is little in the way of anything really cool in it. On top of all this the animation is a collection of cut rate techniques in computer animation. It could be worse, somebody could have decided to make the movie longer.
