Many times my hardest reviews are sequels to franchises that are generally as good as the original in the series. Sometimes you just want to say look it’s more X but need to make a full review.

The war that was ended by the ingenious actions of Captain Tylor and the rest of the crew of the Soyokaze was not one to end forever, especially while there were still warlike leaders in both the USPF and the Raalgon empire. There is a new weapon that the Raalgon are testing and Tylor’s superiors send the Soyokaze on a secret mission. He has succeeded so far but just how far can genius or dumb luck (depending on which one you think he has) can take a man?

The Irresponsible Captain Tylor Oav collection is made of two movie length episodes and six other character centered Oav episodes. I am lumping them all together under one review. The main reason for this is that the quality is fairly constant as it is with the television series; Tylor is simply Tylor. This is not an admonition against the Oav or the franchise in general but that if you are familiar with this show you will probably know what you are going to get yourself into coming in. Personally I like more Tylor and I figure that anybody who isn’t scared by the prospect of watching more Tylor (I can’t imagine who would be) would be interested in watching more as long as they know the quality doesn’t drop off in any major way.
