If you watch Pani Poni Dash I have one piece of advice for you. Don’t blink or you might miss something funny.

Rebecca Miyamoto is a half American, Half Japanese wonder kid who graduated from MIT at the age of ten. Her next challenge may prove to be even more difficult than getting her doctorate before puberty; she is the new homeroom teacher to class 1-C at Momotsuki High. Commanding the respect of students that are all older than her is only the beginning of her challenges for in a world where anything can and does happen, including aliens, talking animals, and magical girls teaching can be quite the hassle.

My first instinct is to say that Pani Poni Dash is a zany, hyperactive comedy but I really don’t like to make understatements in my reviews. This is a sharp comedy where the collection of character quirks and in jokes is almost staggering but still manageable. Even more so with the snap references that flood the blackboards in the series, fortunately even if you miss half or even most of them they won’t really ruin the series for a perspective viewer. To put it simply this is a show that is crazy in a way that few anime shows ever are and if you like crazy comedy you need to see this show.
