Hello everyone

There are going to be some changes to the RSS feed (news feed) at Nz17 Productions.

First, each site will be getting its own RSS feed. So Anifanatikku, ASO Radio, and Macrobo V will each have a personal RSS feed. However updates from all three will still be fed into our main news feed.

Second, the main news feed will have its size increased from ten news items to twenty-five news items. This is being done because sometimes when we have many updates in a small amount of time, recent updates will be knocked off the news feed just because they are a few hours older than the newest updates.

Third, because most people subscribe to our main RSS feed for the ASO Radio updates (in the form of Episodes delivered by podcast, usually through iTunes), we will be temporarily setting the main news feed address to redirect to the ASO Radio news feed address. This will be done for the next week so we have time to ensure that all podcast subscribers will be moved to the new newsfeed/podcast address. Once this time is over we will take down the redirect so that people can once again subscribe to the main news feed.

Fourth, the ASO Radio feed/podcast will be changed to list all of the Episodes available in MP3 format. This will hopefully increase our ranking on iTunes, help bring in new fans, and help our podcast appear in the new Podcast section at If and when that happens, I will link to the Digg address for our ASO Radio podcast page.

Because of these changes we will be changing the RSS subscription buttons that appear on the individual sites. I think what we will do is create a single page listing all of our RSS feeds, and change the individual Web sites to point to their own news feeds.

If you have any questions about these changes or news/RSS feeds in general, please ask them in this thread.

nz17 (Thursday, 01 March 2007 00:16:20 +0000) to topic ASO Now on Digg, Feeds Back to Normal
Good news everybody: ASO Radio's podcast is now listed on If you have a Digg account, please go to Digg's ASO Radio podcast page and "digg" our podcast. Doing so will show its popularity and help make us even more popular! And be sure to digg your favorite Episodes too.

Since a week has now passed for people's news readers to update to the new ASO Radio podcast/newsfeed, the time has now come for us to restore things back to the way they were. So now the main feed does not redirect to ASO Radio's news feed any more, but instead displays the updates for all the Nz17 Productions sites.

At the moment, Anifanatikku and Macrobo V do not have their own newsfeeds. However that will soon change in the coming weeks. At that time each site will have its own news feed and buttons to help visitors subscribe to those feeds.

We hope you enjoy the various news feeds and content that Nz17 Productions provides. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to share them with us.
