Welcome back to the Nz17 Productions Forum! We are glad to have you return and apologize for the downtime. On April 15 we had a malicious user attack our message board which made it unavailable for a few weeks. However we now have even better software running our message board and so I hope you enjoy its new features.

If there are any questions you have about the new message board please feel free to ask them here. As with any new software we are still learning the ropes, and some parts have not been translated from German to English yet. We aplogize for the inconvenience and ask you to make the best of the situation until we can finish the translation.

For the moment, avatars are not working correctly. You can upload an avatar but it will not be immediately available. If you do upload a custom avatar please send me a PM (private message) so that I can activate your forum avatar.

Once again, thanks for using our message board and welcome back home.

Thanks.... But are you able to tell us what happened to the user that messed with the best, and died like the rest?

From my best guess his service with SBC Yahoo was revoked, his e-mail account was deactivated and deleted, and possibly a fee was levied against him.

But if I may indulge a bit, he was also bitten, beaten, whipped, and spat upon, and thereafter photos of his desecred self were posted all over his neighborhood.

The same shall happen to any who defile our fair boards (although you are free to post).

Yes, it all boils down to the common law: if you respect our board, we respect your privilege to post on it. If you cross us, we cut you good! :v:

It really is terrifying that some people can't learn no matter how many sticks they get hit by (sticks being metaphorical in this case). Our example in today's lesson is a malcontent which goes by the handle "ph0rkeh."

Here is a message he sent to us which is dated May 17, though I am sure he'll insist that was a "hack."

Orginal from ph0rkeh wrote at Thursday, 14 December 2017 23:33:28 +0000

bahahahah, omg.. so i decided to google some of my nick names today
and i found this from almost forgot about you guys.. :

"From my best guess his service with SBC Yahoo was revoked, his e-mail
account was deactivated and deleted, and possibly a fee was levied
against him.

But if I may indulge a bit, he was also bitten, beaten, whipped, and
spat upon, and thereafter photos of his desecred self were posted all
over his neighborhood. "

that is too cool... you think im dumb enough to use my REAL ip when
doing that stuff.. oh man thats to funny... you shut down some
innocent dudes internet that I trojaned to exploit your forums with.
and prolly made him pay a fine.. BAHHAHAHAHA oh that sucks…

You sir are a true ass hole. Ill be sure to find more exploits on your
webserver for thinking your better then me. Hmmm your newsletter
script looks buggy

- much love and laughes.. ph0rkeh aka mr_hadys aka xeorsx

Now see, I find that message absolutely hilarious, so let me explain why.

First, we can see that the work "ph0rkeh" is doing with his English class is paying off, as this message is much more readible than those in his previous messages.

Second, his e-mail is addressed to a generic e-mail address at Nz17 Productions. I would have never found this e-mail if I did not do periodic checks of the unused accounts. One would think a "master hacker" would have found an active e-mail account to mail.

Third, his address that was provided in the message is a real e-mail address at a Web-based e-mail service. If he has other people using his subdomain they would lose their e-mail accounts if he got his shut down.

Fourth, he claims somebody lost his "internet" (Keep working at the English, guy, and you'll be fluent in no time!) access because he "trojaned to exploit your forums." But that makes no sense. With all the much easier ways of masking an IP address, why would someone go to such pains to activate a Trojan on another person's computer?

Fifth, he states that he will continue to look for exploits on the site. Amazingly enough though, in the two weeks that I was completely unaware of his communique, he has been unable to exploit my supposedly buggy newsletter code or anything else on the site. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that ph0rkeh only uses known exploits in phpBB and is impotent in true code hacking (as any search on Google will reveal).

Sixth, a search for his proclaimed aliases brings up no results on any of the search engines I tried. Hmm, they must be freshly baked.

As those who know me can guess, I left the best for last. Seventh and last on our list, ph0rkeh claims to have found our postings due to him doing a "google some of my nick names today" and that he "almost forgot about you guys". The funny part of this is that the message was sent two weeks ago but even now a search on Google for ph0rkeh brings up no results from our Web site. This means that he was not just searching for hits on his name, he actually came here on purpose after he received his discipline! And then he has the gall to send a message to make it seem like nothing happened at all.

Reading between the lines, all becomes clear. Instead of merely fading away and leaving us with our conclusions, ph0rkeh has generously granted us the sound knowlege that indeed punishment was meted out to him. I honestly can't say which brings me more satisfaction: his just deserts, or seeing through his obvious and frail fa?ade.

The guy had it in him to destroy a forum for no good reason, do you really expect him to be anything other than a loser?

But honestly he hacked our site, and he was suprised to find out we hated him for it?

Kind of funny, but the entire site was down at about 11:00 AM MST. And for a moment I thought this was from our dear friend "phpBB hater". But seeing has how the site is back to the way it was, I assume it was futanet (or whoever hosts us) that was on the fritz.

 nz17 (Tuesday, 30 May 2006 21:00:58 +0000) to topic Fuitadnet is Troublesome
Yeah, you guys probably don't realize it too often, but our host (Fuitadnet) goes down almost every week. Sometimes it is for a few minutes, or a short while, but it can even be days on occasion. I would have switched providers by now but the one thing Fuitadnet does really well is customer service and they take pride in what they do, they really believe in their goals.

Maybe one day we will switch hosts, but for now I am pleased with Fuitadnet.
