The latest Episode of ASO Radio was posted this year... on January 1, six months ago. While I realize that having Episodes appear twice per year on a biannual basis sounds like a neat idea, I think you guys want something more.

In that spirit, expect a new Episode of ASO Radio on Sunday, July 6. Originally I planned to have #121 appear on June 29, but due to a large number of due college assignments and exams I was unable to delivery new content this week.

We will have some changes in store for you listeners. For starters, the news and fan mail segments will be transposed, with the fan mail at the beginning of the show and the news in the middle to provide a break from the reviews. The fan mail and community stuff will be done at the start of the program to emphasize our stronger focus on building a more tight-knit community group around ASO Radio. With that in mind, please send in photographs of your impressive anime/manga collections and collectibles. We'll feature them on the show and in our Artist Alley if your pics are impressive enough to wow us.

We will also be running a summer-long contest. Everyone who writes a review of ASO Radio on iTunes will be automatically entered into our contest. One lucky random winner will be drawn from all eligible entries on September 7 and announced on the following Episode. The prize will be the winner's choice of anime or manga box set(s) with a retail value up to $50.00 USD. The period for entries will begin with Episode #121 and will end on August 31 @ midnight (24:00 hours UTC-600).

After we air Episode #121 we will begin a redesign of the ASO Radio Web site. While the current site is fine it is too difficult to quickly find what someone is seeking and there is too much blank ( " negative " ) space which is only taking up room.

Link1986, keeper of the MacRobo V, hopes to have a prototype video version of ASO Radio produced this summer. Right now details of this project are hush-hush, but if anything develops we'll be sure to let you know.

Please look forward to a great summer with ASO Radio!

A new episode sounds great. I would enter the contest but my collection is kind of messy to make a massive understatement.

While I welcome pictures of your collection, do know that Nz17 Productions members are not eligible for our contests.

:sorry: Due to various problems #121 will not be out until Thursday June 10. However we are sticking to our schedule and will be posting #122 on Sunday June 13. This means we will be releasing two new Episodes in the next few days. Enjoy!

Remember people on the internet part of the reason it takes nz so long to release episodes is that he actually mixes sound clips together rather than simply getting a crackly internet mike like most podcasts.

I always thought it was because he's terribly lazy.

That is, the reason for the delay is that I have to tranfer several files from different locations on my laptop's hard drive to my desktop computer. These files are needed for updating the Web site and mixing the Episode files together into a comprehensive polished whole production.

My current plan is to get the Episode together as soon as I can and post it between now and Sunday. Once this file transfer hurdle is overcome expect frequent updates.

All right, I've been dueling with school work, getting the Nz17 Productions' site mirror working on my local computer, and transfering the show's files to my local machine (which was a nightmare itself), but now I am just about ready to get the metaphorical ball on a roll.

I just need to know if you guys would like two Episodes this week or just one. I can get out 121 on Friday and 122 on Sunday if I push it, or just release 121 on Sunday instead. It is your choice, so post your opinion here to let me know.
