August 13, 1999 - August 13, 2009 has seen ten years of ASO Radio wackiness... OK, technically we took a hiatus for a few years and came back, but work with me here. :)

It has been 10 years since I started ASO Radio, back in the dark days of the Internet, where the majority of people weren't online and those that were primarily used the slow and fragile "dial up" to go online. It was a time when RealAudio stalked the Earth, bringing encumbered, propriety audio and video to a world that had no better alternatives, and did so in a crumby piece of software. But these were the wild frontier days when the word "podcasting" did not exist, and when any sort of audio program on the Internet was a rare and wonderful treat.
Fast forward to now, and we're preparing some delectable delights for our delirious deviation from your daily doldrums. On August 13 (Thursday) there will be a new Episode, #125, and new Bandie artwork in the Artist Alley. This also marks a return to form for ASO Radio, in that we will be providing weekly installments of the show once more. In the coming weeks I will also reveal our new Web site design which is leagues better than what we've been using, especially concerning site navigation.
So strap on your party hats and hand out the noisemakers, it is time to celebrate our birthday!
:) :D  8P :v: ;) :beaten:
That is very good to hear. Aso radio does make good shows and it has been forever since I heard and episode.

Thank Bresnan Communications for making that forever and a day - their Internet service being down meant I couldn't get anime news or fanmail to record for the show which delayed the whole production by a day. Because of this we will have the show up on the 14th instead.

Being delayed is almost a tradition. But you do make up for it by being a well produced show.

That and at least you aren't being overwhelmed by the latest anifan update.
And in that time honored tradition, the newest Episode has been delayed yet again! This time, though, it is only a small delay and we will see the Eps. before Monday's dawn, I guar-an-tee!

*head hits keyboard*
I want to say, "Sorry!" for not putting an Episode out yet, but all I can do is come out sounding like an insincere little kid by saying, "Saw-wy!" I can't help it, it's just funnier to say it that way.
But seriously, mea culpa, you guys. 'Net went down the day I was going to do the Episode (honest!), and ever since then I have been dealing with trouble, difficulty, and B.S. in a variety of ways. Most of this woe has come from being poor and having to deal with the stupid bureaucracy of Utah State University. I swear, if they "auto-purge" my classes one more time... :scorned:
Anyway I don't want to underestimate how long it will take me to come out with the next Episode, so let's say for the sake of hedging our bets that it will be out by August 31st (inclusive).

...Looks like August 31st came and went. Get out the whips and give the knave thirty lashings!
You know, maybe I'm the first to notice this, or only the first to say this. But you share a anniversary with the SEGA Dreamcast.
