I watch a good deal of shallow shows that pander to the viewer with cute girls. So to be fair occasionally I watch shows like Angel’s feather which is a shallow show that panders to the viewer with cute boys.

Shou who is known as a great student of kendo has transferred to an all boys school. Their he meets his brother Kai whom he has not seen for years. Ironically enough both of them have the royal blood of the kingdom of Winfield which allows them to grow pure white wings. One day he and some of his friends fall through a crack in the ground and have to fight a monster. Things become even more difficult when Shou’s friend Naoto grows black wings and begins to fight Shou.

Angel’s feather is an Oav that follows a very specific formula. That formula is one part fantasy cliché, one part boy’s love fan service and no parts making sense. The plot of this story if it can be said to exist at all, makes the trained viewer think that this is based off of some sort of dating sim with several story lines that not only cross each other but also smother each other as no narrative has any real chance to grow into a worthwhile story. If you can not guess by now I do not recommend Angel’s feather to anybody but the fan girl types who would watch this regardless of whatever I say.
