Urda isn’t a good short movie but what it lacks in quality it makes up for in pure spunk.

In the midst of world war 2 Erna is a spy for the allies who is assigned to figure exactly what is behind the shadowy Urda project. During a harrowing battle on the top of a speeding train she runs across a mysterious girl with links to the Urda project? This is all well and good but Erna’s nemesis Grimlild who had a falling out with Erna is hot on the trail of the pair as well as Erna’s friend Janet. Will Erna be able to stop this Nazi plot?

The first thing that one will notice about Urda is its use of rather tacky cg animation. The second thing that one would notice about this movie is that this is a (very short) action movie with a very thin plot. While it certainly isn’t that good URDA does have its own wacky charm as evidenced about six minutes in when the main character dual wields bazookas or when the heroine and her nemesis face off against each other wielding parts of an airplane wing. While this isn’t a good Oav by any stretch of the imagination at the same time URDA isn’t the worst thing I have ever seen.
