Review Love Hina Again Written by Warpshadow Rating good/ very good

After several somewhat endings I think that after this one the Love Hina Franchise has actually, finally ended with an actual conclusive conclusion. If nothing else Ken Akamatsu is now working on a completely different series called Negima so there is no more material for another so called ending.

After Finally being accepted into Tokyo University you would think that everything would be smooth sailing for Keitaro, right? Well one of Naru's outbursts finally pushed Keitaro's body over the edge and gave him a broken leg so he could not attend his first semester. To make up for lost time he goes off with Seta on an archeological dig. While Keitaro is gone Naru starts acting strangely, or at least what is thought to be Naru. In fact Keitaro has a younger sister who has been impersonating Naru in order to drive her out of Hinata apartments.

Love Hina Again manages to end the story of Love Hina on a high note, especially after the disappointing spring special. The story is somewhat typical Love Hina with some plus sides and some negatives. On the downside some may feel that Kanako is fairly contrived to be placed as a last minute addition to the cast. Also I found that the scene where she meets Naru degrades Naru's intelligence in a way that does not befit her character. On the plus side it is nice to see Keitaro looking and acting more mature than when he was at the beginning of the show. It was also interesting to see the bulk of character development being put on Naru (she even gets attacked by the other tenants at one point). There is also a good deal of reference to past events in the anime. After all is said and done if you have seen Love Hina up to this point you should see Love Hina again (and I don't mean rewatching the show).
