Last Day: 'Nuff said.

So in honor of this being the last day to update, let us remind you this year of what games were good in 2009.

Top Ten

10. Glow Artisan

9. Madden NFL 10

8. Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition

7. Fantasy Golf: PANGYA

6. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box

5. Tekken 6

4. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

3. Half-Minute Hero

2. Tales of Monkey Island

And for those of you who have been following along for all these years, lets take a look at those stinkers from last year.

Bottom Ten

10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled

9. Assassin's Creed II: Discovery

8. Bubble Bobble Neo

7. Street Fighter IV

6. Sonic and the Black Knight

5. Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires

4. Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?

3. Halo Wars

2. Lord of the Rings: Conquest

And now, the worst game of 2009...

1. Damnation

When me and my buddy were looking for a game to play, I made the suggestion of “Damnation”. If not for my charm, I would have lost one of my best friends forever. Not only are the graphics atrocious even for a PS2 game (I played it on the Xbox 360), but the game control is blatantly trying to rip off Gears of War with of third person over the shoulder gameplay. But don't forget the horrible story, that revolves around the Lincoln/Civil war time, only they have futuristic steam guns and monsters. I guess if you were using it as a form of punishment this game would be great! They would never disobey you ever again. However even that is too cruel for me, and you should just avoid it at any cost.

And now the other moment you've been waiting for, the best game of 2009. Ever.

1. Shadow Complex

Set as a prequel to the book “Hidden Empire” from Orson Scott Card, this masterpiece is crafted to a metroidvania (2D platformer) with a 3D style all its own. Really though this game is much more than that. With a story that doesn't put you to sleep in-between cut-scenes, and a fondness tailored for those who have been playing games for years. Shadow Complex starts off strong and keeps you wanting more even after the end. If you have not picked this one up yet, it's time to come out from under that rock and experience something great.

Well that magic time of the year has ended, and it may be some time before I get to make this sort of update again. But it's been fun while it lasted and we'll see you next time.

This month's Club EnZee wallpaper is of Dr. Guile "Wright". He's prosecuting evil for the sake of, um, misunderstood evil! This wallpaper image like all our desktop background images can be found in the wallpaper section.
