Review Puni Puni Poemi Written by Warpshadow Rating very good

An Oav can do some things that a television show can not, do to the fact that it can avoid censors and whatnot. Clearly the makes of Excel Saga took advantage of this fact when they made Puni Puni Poemi.

After the events of Excel Saga (I think) Nabishin and Kumi Kumi got married and had a daughter named Poemi. Poemi is extremely hyperactive girl who wishes to be a seiyuu (voice actress) and refers to herself as Kobiyashi (in reference to the Japanese Seiyuu Yumiko Kobiyashi) One day coming home from school with her very affectionate friend Futaba, Poemi finds that her parents have been killed by aliens. This leaves Poemi with no choice but to move in with Futaba and her six sisters. Somewhere in the story she finds an old fish which she uses to turn into the magical girl Puni Puni Poemi.

Puni Puni Poemi is easily the craziest comedy I have ever and perhaps will ever see. There are two episodes in Puni Puni Poemi. I suggest that viewers do not watch them both at the same time, I did and for the next hour or two I thought the show broke my brain. This is not to say that Puni Puni Poemi is bad, I clearly laughed out loud several times. If you don't have problems with fan service and remember my warning Puni Puni Poemi should easily be something that you will heartily enjoy.
