Anime Review: Hale + Guu final

Some Oavs that are tacked on to the end of anime shows are unneeded as the plot has already been wrapped up. Not so the case with this show. Then again there wasn’t much of a plot to begin with so this is just more craziness.

One day while Hale and his family were living peacefully (or was passes for peaceful in Hale’s life) they received a video from Belle saying that Weda’s mother sick, although it looked like a forgery. Stricken with worry Weda takes Hale, Guu and Ame (Hale’s little brother) to the city so she can be with her mother. Hale on the other hand is sad that he won’t be able to see his friends in the jungle anymore, that is until he meets a cute girl named Rita.

This Oav is little more than a simple continuation of the old Hale + Guu series. While this means you should probably watch the television series first, although if you have don’t expect this to wrap things up or give you an explanation to what the hell Guu is. What you can expect is Guu to be her manipulative old self and for a lot of jokes to occur along the way. In shot if you liked the television show you might as well follow up with the Oav.
