Review Myself YourselfWritten by WarpshadowRating good/ very good

As far as stories about a guy and all the cute girls who know him Myself Yourself is fairly decent but It is nothing that you should go out of your way for.

Sana moved away from his hometown and all his childhood friends five years ago. A lot can happen in five years but at least he lives in an apartment right next to his now busty childhood friend Aoi. He has other friends from his childhood including the Wakatsuki twins. However on his first day of school his asks a girl her name and gets slapped for his question. The girl who slapped him is other childhood friend Nanaka. What could have happened to make her so angry and bitter?

Myself Yourself is a romantic comedy based off of a Ren ai video game. As far as it stands in it’s genre I would say it is about average especially since it seems these days shows of this type fall into a two phase system. The first half of the show is light, happy and fairly weak. Around episode eight Myself Yourself takes a darker turn as the truth that Nanaka is hiding begins to be revealed. The main question that a perspective viewer must ask themselves is are they willing to sit out a weak first half for a more rewarding romantic story? If the answer of that question is yes or you simply don’t mind sitting through a half dozen episodes of setup with fan service (especially Aoi) Then this is a show I recommend to you.
