Hyakko is a decent slice of life show but never expect too much in the way of entertainment from this.

It was Ayumi Nonomura's first day at the gigantic Kamizono academy and she had no idea where her classroom was. She decided to follow another student (Tatsuki) who looked like she might be in the same class but that turned out to be fruitless. Then the two witnessed another girl jump out of a second story window as she was following a plan to reach class by walking in a straight line. This bold girl is named Torako and her quiet friend is Suzume and though none of them know it at the time they are destined to become friends.

Hyakko is a slice of life show with some comedic underpinnings and a fairly decent one at that. While like as the genre description says very little of importance happens. While like many shows of this genre it has a core cast of four girls this show has a more expansive secondary cast (which includes some men) and doesn't waste time introducing them. However even with the expanded cast the comedy never really becomes anything more than average. Overall I would place Hyakko in the group of shows that I would tepidly recommend probably as a rental.
