Vampires can be used for just about anything and tsundere loli vampires are no exception. It does have enough plot to make it somewhat better than your average moe anime though.

For someone working with an occult magazine Kohei Mido is someone with little (which is to say none what so ever) spiritual sensitivity. One day he was assigned to take pictures of an old German castle which was said to be haunted and there he found a young girl named Hazuki. However Hazuki’s interest in Kohei wasn’t without a hidden side, she was in fact a vampire looking for a slave to help her escape the castle. Yet somehow Kohei didn’t fall under Hazuki’s spell even though they made the blood pact, even though Hazuki thinks of him as her slave and decides to follow him back to Japan and move in with him.

Moonphase is a slightly odd sort of show starring of all things a little girl vampire (which since she is a vampire is somehow above the age of consent). The show is slightly perverted which is a given since this a show about vampires but if you don’t like that sort of stuff it is easy enough to look at Hazuki as simply a comic brat with a soft underside, which is a fair assessment of the character. Throw in some strange directing decisions like the complete overuse of the hit someone with an empty pan gag and you have yourself a unique show. If you like shows about vampires and or cute girls you should like this one.
